As the threat of mosquito borne disease is increasing, Bhopal Municipal Corporation is carrying out fogging exercise regularly to kill the mosquitoes. Fogging is being done by hand operated machines as well as vehicles specially designed to do fogging. On Sunday, BMC squad carried out fogging exercise in Eco Green Park colony, Sagar Estate, Sagar Landmark, Kolua Kalan, Damkheda, Kararia Village, Khejda village, Mayur Vihar, Bank Colony, Vikas Nagar, Jehangirabad etc. BMC’s drive for implementation of COVID norms BMC is regularly carrying out drive to check the implementation of Covid protocol.

 

Those who are find flouting the corona protocol by not wearing the mask and not maintaining the social distancing are fined on the spot. Likewise, BMC is also slapping fine on use of prohibited polythene. On Sunday, BMC recovered fine of Rs 16, 150 in 126 cases. In four cases in zone 2, fine of Rs 400 was recovered followed by recovery of fine in other areas of city as well. Along with carrying out spot fine exercise, BMC officials and employees are also constantly spreading the message of covid protocol by asking people to adhere to corona protocol.
