Dinshaw’s is a leading village-level milk procurer in Vidarbha. It has more than 2,020 established village level collection centers. The approach to farmers doors, especially in the dairy business, starts with animals. Cattle health camps are the best platform for direct dialogue with the farmers, and they attend them in good numbers. Cattle Health Camps are one of the most effective and efficient ways to understand farmers problems and thus, Dinshaw’s will be organising 5 to 6 Cattle Health Camps per month. In these camps, it will be associating and joining hands with vet medicine suppliers, cattle feed suppliers to provide free samples.

This will help in reducing the cost of treatment and pull farmers to these camps. A Cattle Health Camp at Valni Taluka in Pauni in Bhandara district was recently held. For better participation, the company involved the local Sarpanch Dipak Tighare, resulting in more than 150 farmers attending the camp. In this camp, 88 animals including cows, calves, buffaloes and goats were examined and treated. 20 pregnancy diagnoses and 2 artificial insemination were also performed. Dinshaw’s Dr Sanjay Patidar, an excellent animal physician as well as Gynecologist leads the project - thus regaining farmers faith, and strongly establishing the company brand image.
