Ensuring immunisation of all children of 15 to 18 years of age by vaccinating them by January 20, the vaccination began in city on Monday. Children share experience after getting jabbed. Asmit Bhargava, a class 10th student studying in Subhash School, said that - “He is happy to take the vaccine shot.” Asmit said, “Last year due to the lockdown, offline classes were not held in the school and examinations were not held. This disappointed them. Now the corona will be under control due to the Covid vaccination. Offline classes will also be held and examinations will also be held.” K Lahiri Chaurasia took her first dose on the very first day and said now that she is vaccinated, she will attend classes regularly and we will no longer be afraid of corona.
 
She has also appealed to all her friends and acquaintances to take the vaccine shot and follow protocols like mask, sanitizer and distance of two yards in terms of safety. These children will now be given the second dose of the vaccine after 28 days. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan launched the vaccination campaign for 15 to 18 years old children on Monday at Government Subhash Higher Secondary School, Bhopal. During this, Chief Minister Chouhan also inspected the arrangements at the vaccination center. Chief Minister Chouhan has said that the third wave of Covid-19 is knocking the doors of the State. We don’t have to be afraid of this, but we have to fight this. Vaccination gives us protection. The first dose of vaccine has been administered to 95 per cent of the eligible population in the state and the second dose of the vaccine to 92 per cent of the population.
