TAYWADE College, Koradi girls emerged champions of the inter-college handball tournament organised by the Sports and Physical Education Department of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University The tournament was held at Taywade College, Koradi.

In the final, Taywade College beat JM Patel College, Bhandara 28-14.

Taywade College’s Poonam Kadav (15), Karishma Dhurve (8) and Priya Kumari (5) were the main scorers while for Bhandara Kalyani (6), Anushka (6) and Mahi (2) reduced the margin.

Dhanwate National College beat Nabira Mahavidyalaya Katol to clinch the third spot.

Advocate Shantanu B Taywade Vice-President, Sacchidanand Shikshan Sanstha, Dr Pawan, Dr Romi, Dr Milind Bhakte, Dr Nikhil Ratnapure were present during the prize distribution function. Dr Sunil Bhotmange conducted the programme.
