“The country needs a holistic and thoughtful population policy to maintain Hindu population. Continuous conversion and infiltration from international borders leads to lessening Hindu population in the country. Following one-sidedly focus on population control, average of per family population has been reduced from 3:4 to 1:9 in the country in last 40-50 years. It is a matter of grave concern that the population of elders will be larger than youngsters in future in the country,” said Dr Pradeep Dubey, Prant Sanghchalak, while addressing a press conference, on Saturday.
Dr Dubey informed that in a recently held national executive body meeting of RSS at Prayagraj on October 16 to 19, executive body members held detailed discussions on relevant issues of population imbalance, women participation in social and public live, conversion and financial self-dependence. Now total numbers of Shakhas have increased from 54,382 to 61,045 in the country. RSS has started a campaign to ensure establishment of Shakha at all the units in the country till the starting of centenary year celebration of RSS in year 2025. He added that in Mahakaushal Prant, RSS has 192 Khand Kendras, 1006 Mandals and 556 Basti Shakha while total 1773 regular Shakha, 246 Sangh Mandli and 483 Saptahik Milan are functioning.
