CITY Premier College defeated Dr Ambedkar College to clinch the basketball title during the recently concluded Dr Panjabrao Deshmukh Krida Mahotsav organised by Dhanwate National College.

Under the guidance of sports in-charge Mahesh Gaharwar and led by captain Sanskar Bhuryarkar, CPC thrashed Dr Ambedkar College 56-22 in the final. Sarthak Dhuldhul was adjudged as the promising player and Tanuk Gurnule was declared as the best player of the tournament.

Management members appreciated the efforts of the sports teacher and Principal Dr Vinod Gawande congratulated the entire team.
