A TIMELY goal in the first half by striker Ashmit Pramanik helped St John’s High School pip Indian Friends Football Club ‘A’ by a solitary goal and storm into the final of the Baby League Seven-A-Side Football Tournament organised by St Mary’s Football Academy at St Mary’s School ground, Jafar Nagar. Pramanik who stepped in as a substitute in the first half tapped the ball across the goal line to put the Mohan Nagar based school ahead. His goal proved to be the match winner as IFFC failed to draw parity.
