ST VINCENT Pallotti Engineering College and GS Commerce College started with victories in the inter-college handball championship organised by the Sports and Physical Education Department of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University at CP & Berar ES College, Reshimbagh ground on Wednesday.

While Pallotti College beat Ishwar Deshmuskh Physical Education College 9-2, GS Commerce College pipped Dr Ambedkar Institute of Management 15-14.

Earlier, the tournament was inaugurated by Dr Sharad Suryawanshi, Director, Department of Sports & Physical Education, RTMNU. Dr Milind Barhate, Principal CP & Berar ES College presided over. Dr Arvind Sovani, Dr Nishant Tipte, HOD Department of Physical Education, CP and Berar ES College were also present.
