CENTRAL India Public School, Kamptee Road karatekas excelled in the recently held competition organised by District Karate Association. Laksh Purohit of Grade VIII and Dyanesh Sarve of Grade VII brought laurels to school by winning a gold medal and a silver medal respectively in kumite event held at Hindu Mulinchi Shala, Mahal. Dyanesh Sarve was also awarded a gold medal in kata. Both the students have been selected for Maharashtra State Sub-Junior Karate Championship to be held at Aurangabad. Director Pravin Tiwari, Principal Aruna Rao and coach Parag Salame congratulated the karatekas.
