Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who reached Pench Tiger Reserve on a two-day personal stay with wife Sadhna Singh on Saturday evening for a two-day private tour and rest, postponed his tour and left for Shahdol from Karmajhiri in Seoni on Sunday afternoon. According to information, Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh postponed the visit to Pench Tiger Reserve in view of the preparations for the President’s arrival in Shahdol on November 15. On Sunday morning, the Chief Minister along with his wife Sadhna Singh enjoyed a safari of Karmaziri-Alikatta core area.
During the safari, he also got to see all kinds of wild animals including tigers. The Chief Minister expressed happiness on seeing the forest personnel patrolling the forest during the safari. Later interacted directly with the forest personnel of the patrolling team.
In line with the resolution to plant a sapling every day, Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh along with his wife Sadhna Singh planted a sapling of Lokhandi species at the Mowgli Guest House premises in Karmajhiri. Significantly, the Chief Minister had reached the Karmajhiri helipad at around 4.30 pm on Saturday evening along with his wife Sadhna Singh. During this, the Chief Minister did a jungle safari in the Tikari-Kumbapani buffer area after interacting with the local villagers. The forest personnel told the Chief Minister that foot patrolling is done in the forest using the M-stripe mobile app. This prepares the map of foot patrolling.
