song of budding singer Avani Verma of Mandla district has been shortlisted in National Voters’ Awareness Contest organised by the Election Commission of India.

The Chief Electoral Officer, Madhya Pradesh has instructed Avani Verma, a class X student studying in Kendriya Vidyalaya, Mandla, to send the script of the song for voter awareness.

The competition was started by the Election Commission of India from January 25, 2022, for voters’ awareness, in which about 2 lakh songs were received from all over the country.

Avni’s song has been shortlisted on the basis of content and presentation. This song of Avni has been written by Aarti Balmukund Hardaha which has been recorded under the direction of her music teacher Jagdish Kachwaha and folk singer Shyam Bairagi.
