FORMER India hockey goalkeeper and women’s coach Mir Ranjan Negi will be arriving in Nagpur on Saturday to grace the Sports Journalists’ Association of Nagpur (SJAN) and GH Raisoni Group of Institutions organised annual SJAN-Raisoni Achievers’ Awards function. The awards function will be held on Sunday at 10.30 am at the Grand Millennium Hall of Hotel Centre Point, Ramdaspeth.

On the occasion Sunil Raisoni, Chairman Raisoni Group of Institution and Pranav Sharma, Senior President, Baidyanath will also remain present.

Yoga player Vaibhav Shrirame, captain of Vidarbha senior women’s team Disha Kasat, upcoming badminton player Aditya Yaul will get GH Raisoni Trophies while table tennis player Jennifer Varghese will be rewarded with Baidyanath Trophy. Nagpur District Football Association President Haresh Vora will be honoured with Meeradevi Dasture Trophy in sports organiser’s category.

TBRAN’S Mundle English Medium School and Taywade College, Koradi will be honoured for their work in sports promotion with Centre Point School and KC Bajaj Trophies respectively.”
