FATHER and son duo of Raja and Amit Rewatkar emerged champions in pairs event in 7th All India Inter-Club Bridge Championship held at Arera Club in Bhopal. Players from Nagpur showcased brilliant performance as another pair of S Chhajjed and Samir Roy finished runners-up in pairs event.

More than 100 players from different regions of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal participated in the three-day event. In gold duplicate event, Team Mohota finished runners-up. Their team consisted of father and son duo of Basant and Anurag Mohota, S Chhajjed and Samir Roy. Playwell emerged victorious in silver duplicate event. Their performance came from efforts put on by Rewatkars and Kumra brothers Neeraj and Sanjeev. Attractive cash prizes were awarded to all the winners.
