‘Chhattisgarh Gaurav Diwas’ will be celebrated on December 17 on completion of four years tenure of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel-led Congress Government.
On this day, programmes will be held in all gauthans, co-operative society complexes, paddy procurement centres, tendu patta collection centres, forest produce management committees, haat-bazaars operating in all districts and urban wards to educate the public about the government’s public welfare schemes. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will also address the people of State.
In accordance with the schedule created for the Chhattisgarh Gaurav Diwas celebration, on December 17, 2022, at 11 am, farmers, the chairman and members of the Gauthan Committee, cattle herders, landless workers, public officials, members of local bodies, and Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club members along with the Residents in the area, will be invited and briefed about the accomplishments of the government under various schemes over the last four years. Along with this,
details regarding important government initiatives will also be shared.
Farmers will be invited to the Primary Cooperative Society Complex, Paddy Procurement Centres, at 3 p.m., where they will receive information about the government’s important agricultural programmes, including the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana and the interest-free loan programme (Byaj mukt rin yojana). On the same day at 11 am, information regarding the programmes being run for the farmers and labourers in the state’s forested areas will be provided at Tendupatta collection centres as well as the office of the Forest Produce Management Committee. People will also receive information about government public assistance programmes at Haat Bazar locations being run in every district. In urban areas, programmes will be conducted at the ward level starting at 11 am. Residents of the ward will be informed about the achievements of the four years of government at this event, to which local public representatives are invited. The State Administration officially began under the direction of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel to celebrate the Gaurav Diwas with pomp and show. The Congress Government has fulfilled several promises made in the manifesto in 2018 assembly elections.
