Target set to procure over one crore MT of paddy: CM Baghel

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that everyone is getting the benefit of the Nyay Yojana. People have got relief from availing the benefits of the schemes run by the State Government while addressing a press conference at Bagbahara Rest House as a part of his ‘Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan’ on Thursday.
The Chief Minister said that a target has been set to procure one crore ten lakh metric tonne of paddy this year adding that locals and producers are getting benefitted from the millet plants started by State. This is also boosting employment at the local level.
People across the State are saying that migration has been curbed with the commencement of income-generating activities in Gauthans. Remarkable work is being done in the health sector, and schemes like Haat Bazar, and Slum Swasthya Yojana are being implemented for the benefit of the people stated the Chief Minister adding that now
medical facilities are reaching at the doors of people. The Chief Minister said that his government had promised to half the electricity tariff in the Congress election manifesto which his government implemented and now more than 42 lakh people are taking advantage of the Bijli Bill Half Yojana. This has come as a great relief to the lower middle class people. The Chief Minister said that not only the MSP of paddy was raised by his government but now more items are being procured under MSP including the pulses in the state this has encouraged the farming community and is helping them financially too. Speaking about his government’s commitment to education, the Chief Minister said that his government has focussed on quality education and looking into the fact that there is an increase in the demand for English medium schools, the Swami Atmanand English Medium schools were started by his government. The schools have got tremendous response from the people and there is demand for starting more schools in various parts of the state. Bhupesh said that his government is committed for quality education for the students in the state for which his government has initiated many schemes and started institutions and the people are availing benefits of various government schemes.
Even the work of issuing public documents has also been simplified, the Chief Minister added. The Chief Minister said that the purpose of his Abhiyan is to facilitate the people with various government schemes and to know whether the people are being benefitted or not. The state government is making consistent efforts to reduce the distance between the administration and the public and this campaign is also a part of his government’s efforts. The Chief Minister said that his government has also chalked out plans for the welfare of Tendupatta collectors and all other working sections of the society. The government and administration are working in sync in the interest of the people. The chief minister also announced opening of a college in Komakhan and also announced a financial grant of Rs 20 lakh for Patrakar Bhawan.
