RAIPUR,
Chief Minister’s unsavoury comments on Satnami youths protesting during a function on Baba Guru Ghasidas Jayanti at Lalpur of Mungeli have ruffled many feathers as Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Schedule Caste Morcha leader Naveen Markandey reproached Chief Minister, saying his abusive remarks has insulted the Satnami community.
Hitting out at Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Naveen Markandey calling the agitating Satnami youths barking dogs is an insult against Guru Ghasidas and Satnami Community. Chief Minister loses his mind whenever the agitating youths ask him questions about his failures and unfulfilled promises and oppose his bad policies. Bhupesh Baghel then makes uncouth comments. Baghel crossed limits by comparing Satnami youths with the dogs, thereby shredding the dignity of the Chief Minister’s post in pieces. Bhupesh Baghel has insulted the great saint who preached about equality among all humans.
Bhupesh Baghel has rebuked the Satnami community. It’s rare to find such an example of abuse of power. Bhupesh Baghel is a symbol of unreliability. How someone sitting in the post of Chief Minister can be so uncouth and disgraceful, Markandey asked. Naveen Markandey said that Chief Minister should have tried to understand the reason behind the protest of Satnami youths and resolved their grievances. When Bhupesh Baghel was addressing the public meeting, Satnami youths waved posters/banners to protest over the reservation and raised slogans ‘Go Back, Chief Minister’. Chief Minister himself is to blame for this protest and not the youths. Bhupesh Baghel should immediately apologise to the Satnami community and resign from the post of Chief Minister. Bharatiya Janata Party will burn the effigy of the Chief Minister and lodge a complaint to register FIR under SC/ST Atrocities Act. They will lodge complaints at Police Stations on December 22 and stage protests on December 29 or 30, 2022 before giving a memorandum to Governor.
