State Govt sends replies of queries raised by Governor

The State Government has replied to the ten queries raised by Governor Anusuiya Uikey over the reservation bills.
Talking to mediapersons at Police Line Helipad in the State Capital before leaving for Bemetara district on Sunday, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that the State Government has sent the answers to the ten queries raised by Raj Bhavan.
The Chief Minister said that there is no such provision in the Constitution, yet the information has been given to the Raj Bhavan. Now the Governor should not delay in signing the reservation bills, he added.
It may be mentioned that a delegation of the tribal Congress MLAs led by Cabinet Minister Dr Premsai Singh Tekam had called on Governor Anusuiya Uikey recently. Governor Anusuiya Uikey had handed over the list of 10 queries to the State Government and she had asked to the Government on the reservation bill to the tribal Congress MLAs.
When asked about senior BJP leader Brijmohan Agrawal demanding the State Government to reply to the Governor’s query, Baghel said that Brijmohan Agrawal is a senior MLA and he should tell whether the queries raised by the Governor are legal or not.
