Chhattisgarh Government has sanctioned an amount of Rs 18,49,57,000 for the works of eight different irrigation projects in State. With the completion of the scheme, an irrigation facility will be available in the 847 hectare area.

The development block pali of Korba district has received an amount of Rs 3,16,40,000 for Jhanj anicut work.

With the completion of the scheme, an irrigation facility will be available in the 155-hectare area. Rs 2,63,25,000 has been sanctioned for Sirli Anicut’s work of development block-Pali.

With the completion of the scheme, an irrigation facility will be available in a 105-hectare area. For Development block, Pali- An amount of Rs 1,81,61,000 has been approved for the renovation work of concrete structures of the main canal of Saili reservoir of Pali.

With the completion of the scheme, an irrigation facility will be available in the 405-hectare area. Rs 62,03,000 has been approved for the sluice renovation work of the Jhonkanala reservoir of the Katghora development block.

With the completion of the scheme, an irrigation facility will be available in the 182-hectare area. Rs 3,50,58,000 has been approved for concrete work in the upstream area of Bango dam of the Minimata Bango project in Korba district.

In addition to this, an amount of Rs 3,07,20,000 has been approved for the repair and painting work of all the gate stop logs and related regulator gates and its hoisting arrangement of the Hasdeo Barrage Gate Pass of Hasdeo Bango Project in Korba district.

Rs 1,32,43,000 has been approved for three repair/replacement works. penstock filling valves installed in the inspection gallery of Bango dam of Minimata Bango project in Korba district and for installation of the butterfly valves. Block-Korba’s Hasdeo Left Bank Canal’s R D Rs 2,36,07,000 has been approved for gate fitting and installation work on the cross regulator.
