A TWO-DAY cricket coaching camp jointly organised by Maharashtra Cricket Association for Disabled, Divyang Wheelchair Cricket Association and Samarth Military Academy, Shegaon concluded at the Divisional Sports Complex in Mankapur.
As many as 55 divyangs and 16 wheelchair-bound players took part in the camp. At end of the camp, the best players — batsman, bowler and wicketkeeper were rewarded with mementoes. All the participants were given certificates by the guests.
Officer with the Indian Air Force Shyam Keswani presided over the concluding function. Piyush Ambulkar, Sports Officer, Sports and Cultural Department, Nagpur Municipal Corporation was chief guest. Arjuna and Dronacharya Awardee Vijay Munishwar was special guest on the occasion.

Maharashtra Cricket Association for Disabled; head coach of the camp Sugat Lade, Ramesh Sartape, Girish Nagbhidkar, Anil Kotangale, Sachin Thombre, Nutan Umredkar, Sachin Pakhre, Anil Sawant, Milind Ghodmare were prominently present. Deputy Director Sports Shekhar Patil arranged free of cost lodging arrangements for the players and also provided the ground for camp.
Hafiz Ansari conducted the proceedings while Vinay Yadav proposed a vote of thanks.
Matin Beg, Shailesh Wasnik, Yashwant Wagh, Pakhre, Ajay Bhute, Rakesh Bopche, Rahul Lekurwale, Yadav, Ansari and many divyang members worked hard to make the event a big success.
