Environment at Gyan Ganga International School, Jabalpur is more than an issue, it is passion certified. The students are trained to be conscious of environment for which the school has Environment Protection Brigade- the Eco Club.
The club’s motive is to spread awareness about environment amongst the students to create a ‘clean’ and ‘green’ surrounding. Gyan Ganga ensures active participation of students in environment-related issues at all levels.
To save the environment, a special assembly was conducted by the students to demonstrate their support and concern for environmental protection on Monday.
To dedicate this day to Mother Earth, students presented a poem, speech on the theme ‘Return to Nature’, group song which exhibited the harm caused to our environment by mankind for their benefit, ill effects of environmental pollution on living beings and showcased the solutions to save

with slogans - Reuse, Recycle, Repair, Re-Think, Reduce and Refuse to protect and preserve the green planet.
Earlier, Cleanliness Week was organized in the school under the title ‘SwachchataPakhwada’ from April 04 to April 09, 2022, to spread awareness among students on cleanliness. Under this drive, various activities including Green School Drive, Hand Wash Day, Personal Hygiene Day, were carried out. The students in each of these activities motivated the people to keep their surroundings clean. The students participated full-heartedly in cleaning the surroundings and also initiated to importance of dustbins.
The assembly concluded with the address by Principal, Dr. Rajesh Kumar Chandel who motivated and enriched the young minds about how each one could contribute to safeguarding the Planet Earth. He said that “Mother Earth is the culmination of multiple and diverse energies, which is brought together to create a rich aesthetic experience with a message of harmony and co-existence”.
A Pledge was undertaken by all Gyanites to value the generosity of Mother Earth and create an awareness to keep the Earth Clean and Green.
