58 candidates in fray for HCBA polls

Total 58 candidates filed their nominations for elections of Madhya Pradesh High Court Bar Association (HCBA) on the last date of nomination process, on Tuesday.
Chief Election Officer, Dinesh Upadhyay informed that total five candidates have filed nominations for the post of President, including Manish Tiwari, Sanjay Verma, Nirmala Nayak, Umakant Sharma and Anand Krishna Trivedi, while nine nominations for Vice-President include Ashish Tiwari, Anil Lala, K K Kushwaha, Narendra Kumar Sharma, Shambhu Dayal Gupta, Prashant Awasthi, Sushil Mishra, Raghuvar Prasad Prajapati and Pramendra Sen.
Eight secretarial candidates include Rahul Rawat, Sampoorna Tiwari, P K Mishra, Virendra Dubey, Surendra Verma, Paritosh Trivedi, Amit Jain and Aseem Trivedi. Seven candidature for the post of Treasurer including Pushpraj Singh Gaharwar, Pradeep Dwivedi, Rajendra Pratap Singh, Dharmendra Kumar Pandey, Mahesh Pandey, Surendra Khare and Vibha Pathak.
Six candidates will contest for the post of Library Secretary including Rajesh Dubey, Ramji Shukla, Sangeeta Naidu, Rajnish Upadhyay and Vikas Mishra and total 18 members filed their nominations for election of executive committee members.
On the occasion, Chief Election Officer, Dinesh Upadhyay, Election Officers, Sanjay Seth, Sunil Choube, Rakesh Pandey, Sarla Pandey, Sudhakar Patel, Ashish Shrivastava, Manish Trivedi, Himanshu Tiwari and Election Observer, Shailendra Gangrade
and Naveen Shukla were present.
