Members of the Passengers Advisory Committee (PAC) reached Jabalpur for 4-day inspection of railway stations in Jabalpur Division, on Wednesday. On the first day of the visit, team conducted inspection of Jabalpur and Madan Mahal Railway stations and expressed their satisfaction over quality and standard of beautification and development projects, on Wednesday.
The committee has been constituted by the Railway Board for inspection of more than one dozen railway stations in Jabalpur Division to review development works and passengers’ amenities in the rail division.
The PAC headed by PK Krishna Das comprised of seven members Abhilash Pandey, Vibhashvni Awasthi, Dr. Rajendra Ashok Fadke, Bhajanlal Sharma, Girish Bhai Raisangbhai Rajgor, Chuttubhai Eknath Patil and Kailash Laxman Verma.
After inspecting the Jabalpur and Madan Mahal railway stations, PAC interacted with WCR General Manager, Sudhir Kumar Gupta, DRM Jabalpur, Sanjay Biswas and other senior officers to discuss passengers’ facilities.
On second day, PAC will visit Sihora station, Katni Mudwara station and will take rest in the night. Next day, team
will start inspection from Katni station and reach at Sagar station. Team will return Jabalpur on the same day. Next day, team will visit Bhedaghat at 8 am, Bhitoni, Narsinghpur, Gadarwara and Pipariya railway stations and will leave for Bhopal. During the inspection, Additional DRM, Deepak Kumar Gupta and Divisional Commercial Manager, Sunil Shrivastava and Depot In-charge, observers will present.
