ATHLETES of Saraswati Vidyalaya won medals in the recently concluded Nagpur district athletics championship and qualified for the State-level competition.

The district meet was organised by Nagpur District Athletics Association. In the U-16 girls Aastha Rawat bagged gold medals in shot put (6.45 mtr) and discus throw (12.22 mtr). In U-14 age category, Ritika Sankat bagged gold medal in 600 mtr race while Ayushmaan Singh Rawat clinched the yellow medal in U-14 high jump (1.35 mtr). Similarly, Sagar Tiwari bagged the silver medal in U-18 boys high Jump.

School Head Mistress Jayshree Sastri; Assistant Head Mistress Pushpa Anand; Supervisor Uday Tulankar; Ravindra Kulkarni, Physical Education Teacher Brijmohan Singh Rawat and others congratulated all the medals winners and wished them luck for the State championship.
