The incident of kidnapping and murder of a minor living in a village near Pandhurna has come to light. On the pretext of getting a job, a 55-year-old man kidnapped the girl and then took her to Bhopal with him. On the promise of a job in the Army, the minor went with him, but things did notwork out and after that this person killed this minor and threw the body in the forest of Kerichowka of Obaidullaganj in Raisen district. Police recovered the body and started investigation.
According to information, Pandhurna police station In-charge, Rakesh Bharti said that a 55-year-old Ranjit, son of Jhalu Dhurve, a resident of Chicholi Nasirabad, Betul, has taken the girl to Bhopal on March 31 with him in the name of getting a job. After roaming here and there for two-three days, when things did not work out, Ranjit took the minor to the Kerichowka forest of Obaidullaganj in Raisen district and after strangling her to death, threw the body back in the forest.
After the revelations in the investigation, the police recovered the body and arrested the accused Ranjit under sections 363, 302, 201 and started interrogation by taking him on remand.
Preliminary interrogation has revealed that the accused, Ranjit took this minor of Pandhurna to Bhopal in the name of getting a job after the consent of his family members.
On March 31, both of them had reached Bhopal, after that what happened suddenly that on April 1, Ranjit took her to the forest of Kerichowka and strangled her to death and fled to the village. Police arrested
him and recovered the body.
A big question in this case is why was the minor murdered. The police could not get its answer. In such a situation, sources claim that Ranjeet raped the minor in Bhopal in the name of job and when she protested, took her to the forest of Kerichowka and killed her and ran away.
When the minor did not return, the relatives contacted him, he denied that she was not with him, after which on April 4, the family filed a missing person’s case.
