Re-verification of doctors: Of 55,000 in State, only 15,000 verified so far

As of now in Madhya Pradesh it was believed that out of 55,000 registered doctors, nearly 30,000 must be working in the State, but in the recent re-verification process conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Medical Council, only 15,000 doctors came to the fore. This is the first time such verification has been done. Now, the question arises that when 55,000 doctors are registered in the State, where did the rest go? In fact, every year 800 to 1,000 doctors go to other states after taking a No Objection Certificate from the Medical Council. Apart from this, some doctors have also passed away but they are still registered with Madhya Pradesh Medical Council. Even if the outgoing and dead doctors are removed, it was estimated that about 30,000 doctors would be working in private and Government hospitals in the State, but the latest figures have blown everyone’s minds.
Verification process extended till May 15: So far, only 15,000 doctors have been verified, so the date of verification (re-verification) of the registration of doctors in the Madhya Pradesh
