Member of Parliament, Rakesh Singh performed bhoomipujan and carried out Shram Daan for construction of Amrit Sarovars at different villages in Bargi assembly constituency, on Wednesday.

MP, Singh reiterated the significance of Jalsanrakshan Abhiyan initiated on the call of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and encouraged the villagers in Shahpura and Belkhera villages to come forward for Shram Daan in construction of ponds. He also visited Kulon, Fullar and Jhurrai villages and performed bhoomi-pujan of Amrit Sarowar project.

During the visit, MP, Rakesh Singh declared for providing budget of Rs. 2 lakhs from his parliamentary fund for construction of cultural dais in Gram Panchayats.

On the occasion, District Rural President, Ranu TIwari, Neeraj Singh, Golu Singh, Rupesh Patel, Shailendra Singh, Amit Tahanguriya, Alka Garg, Anil Tiwari and a large numbers of workers and eminent residents were present.
