Three-day workshop begins for teachers at NSCBMCH

To inculcate moral values along with medical knowledge among medical students, the 5th three-day workshop on ‘Revised Basic Course and AETCOM’ is being organised for medical teachers at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College (NSCBMCH) as per guidelines of NMC.
The workshop was inaugurated at the hands of Dean, Dr. P K Kasar, who is President of Medical Education Unit, NSCB Medical College, as well.
Co-ordinator, Medical Education Unit, Dr Kavita Singh informed that during the workshop being conducted at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology as per NMC directives, the medical teachers will be trained about Competency-based Medical Education and AETCOM.
Thirty participant teachers are attending the workshop. They will be enriched with lectures to be delivered in different topics by Resource Faculties of Medical Education including Dr. Deeptibala Sharma, Dr. Riti Seth, Dr. Kavita Sachdeva, Dr. Archana Singh, Dr. Monica Lazarus, Dr. Neelam Toppo, Dr. Shashiprabha Tomar and Dr. Ruchir Khare.
Dr. Anjali Kanhere will be present as NMC Observer in the workshop.
