“Endodontics treatment helps to maintain natural smile, continuous eating the food the patients love and limits the need for ongoing dental work. With proper care, most teeth that have had root canal treatment can last a lifetime. Root canal treatment is virtually painless and often leaves the patient with less discomfort during recovery. Endodontics is the branch of dentistry which deals with the cause, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of diseases of the dental pulp, usually by removal of the nerve and other tissue of the pulp cavity and its replacement with suitable filling material,” informed Dr Rajesh Dhiravani, Director, Hitkarini Dental College.

Dr Dhiravani was addressing a press conference called on Thursday to inform about two-day Endodontics Workshop ‘Proxicon 2022’ to be organised at Hitkarini Dental College on April 23 and 24, 2022. Collector, Dr. Ilaiyaraj T will inaugurate the workshop to be organised under joint banner of Indian Association of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Hitkarini Dental College and Hitkarini Sabha Jabalpur.
