Former Goa Co-operative Minister and Goa Unit President of Sahakar Bharati Prakash Velip recently paid a visit to the Dharampeth Mahila Multi State Co-Operative Society Limited in the city. Velip is also National Head of the Co-operative Credit Societies.

The programme began with lighting the traditional lamp at the hands of Prakash Velip, Secretary of Maharashtra Pradesh Sahakar Bharati Vivek Jugade; President of the Dharampeth Mahila Multi State Co-operative Society Nilima Kishor Bawane; office-bearers of Goa unit of Sahakar Bharati Satish Velip and others.

On the occasion, Jugade introduced Prakash Velip to the participants while Society Nilima Bawane welcomed the guests by presenting them with shawl, shrifal, floral bouquet and mementos. Similarly, Management Adviser of the society - Pratap Hirani spoke about the Dharampeth Mahila Multi State Co-operative Society.

Expressing his views, Prakash Velip praised the office-bearers of the society and gave them best wishes. He said that the Dharampeth Mahila Multi State Co-operative Society should open its branch in Goa as it is a multi-state society. Velip also guided the office-bearers of the society on various issues and highlighted the work of the society during the recent phase of coronavirus.

Director of the society Neelam Bowade; Anagha Mule; Chaya Shukla; Chief Manager Chandrashekhar Wasule; Pratibha Vairagade, Manisha Bawankar and others were also present. ; Chaya Shukla conducted the proceedings of the function and Neelam Bowade proposed the formal vote of thanks.
