Pratima Bondey, a para powerlifter of international repute, was recently felicitated by office bearers of Maratha Seva Sangh’s (MSS) Sambhaji Brigade, in recognition of her achievements. She was also presented with a purse of Rs 5,000for her training.

She has been a consistent performer at sporting events and is currently ranked 11th in international para powerlifting arena.

Pratima has lost her mother while father is bed-ridden and is struggling to raise resources for her training and diet that is a bit expensive. She has won 10 gold medals at national events and is training hard for upcoming international event. She was felicitated by Sudhanshu Mohod, State Working President, MSS Sambhaji Brigade, Rajiv Lohe, District President, Ravindra Raut, Vice-President, Prashant Lohe and Dinesh Ere, noted businessman.
