Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Sanjeevani 108 Ambulance actually works like Sanjeevani. A sick, injured person or an accident victim can be saved if timely treatment is given to the hospital. Sanjeevani 108 Ambulance is proving to be a Sanjeevani by saving lives of people. The launching of the operation of new ambulances today is actually a campaign to save lives. Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the dedication programme of 108 Sanjeevani ambulance and Janani Express in Integrated Referral Transport System for expansion of emergency ambulance services at Lal Parade Ground Bhopal. Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr Prabhuram Choudhary and Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang were present in the programme. Chief Minister Chouhan inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. Chouhan also launched the ‘MP 108 Sanjeevani’ app with a single click. A short film on ambulance service was screened at the event. Chief Minister Chouhan flagged off 2052 ambulances for different districts and handed over the keys of ambulance to drivers Ram Pandey, Shivam Kushwaha and Sachin Agarwal.
All primary health centres of the state to have digital X-ray facility by next year: Chief Minister Chouhan said that CT scan machines have started functioning in 38 district hospitals of the State. The campaign for the appointment of doctors is going on in the state. Recently, 374 doctors have been appointed. Chief Minister Chouhan called upon the doctors to serve in rural areas. He said that under the Mukhya Mantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana, financial assistance is being provided by the state government to the students for medical studies.
These students will have to serve in rural areas for three years. Chief Minister Chouhan said that free dialysis facility is being provided through 196 dialysis machines in the state. Digital X-ray facility has been provided in district hospitals and civil hospitals.
