An important meeting of Board of Directors of Jabalpur Smart City Limited (JSCL) was held, on Friday. Collector and Chairman JSCL Dr. Illaiyaraja T chaired the meeting.

During the meeting the BoDs gave nod to Bio-CNG plant to promote use of renewable energy, as well as they approved development of the city’s gardens. The Board of Directors directed to bring the Madan Mahal hill to its original form by doing extensive plantation, especially of custard fruit plants. They also asked to expedite on-going construction of roads at IT Park, Aadhartal, Amkhera, Golbazar and Medical College.

The BoDs along appreciated the on-going works under the Eat Smart Challenge,

Nurturing Neighborhood Challenge, Street for People, Cycle for Change, Transport for all. Those participated in the meeting were Municipal Commissioner Ashish Vashisht, Additional Commissioner Urban Development and Housing Gajendra Singh Nagesh, Director J K Kapoor, Smart City CEO Nidhi Singh Rajput, CEO JDA, Prashant Srivastava, R K Singh, Engineer Kamlesh Srivastava and others.
