The much-awaited digital locker service was inaugurated for passengers at platform number-1 of Jabalpur Railway Station.

Divisional Rail Manager, Jabalpur, Sanjay Biswas inaugurated the advanced digital locker room by cutting ribbon in a formal ceremony and greeted the passengers for another advanced facility for security of their valuables.

It may be mentioned that advanced digital locker service is available at metro cities like Delhi and Mumbai. Now the same service is available near parcel office, platform number-1 at Jabalpur Railway Station.

It was informed that digital locker is available with a nominal charge of Rs 20. Passengers may hire small, medium or big size locker as per their luggage size and protect it with their secret digital code number.

Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Vishwaranjan informed that along with facilitating the passengers and adding more facilities to the grandness of Jabalpur Railway Station, digital locker service will also contribute non-fair revenue for Indian Railway. Digital locker service is available for 24x365 for the passengers.
