A symposium to mark International Day of Families was organised at Brahmakumaris Shiv Smriti Bhavan on Monday. The symposium began with lighting lamps.

Presiding over the programme Kendra Incharge, Brahmakumari Bhavna said that the thought of ‘Vasudaiv Kutumbhakam’ proves the significance of the word family.

Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation President, Vinod Gontia said that India does not need a particular day to celebrate family togetherness because it is already involved in our lifestyle.

Surgeon Dr S K Pandey said that a family becomes strong when each family member practices virtues. Speaker Pankaj Swami spoke on how pandemic helped the family to come closer. Journalist Sanjeev Choudhary appealed to take meals with the family at least once a day. CA Rajesh Gupta and Entrepreneur, Abhay Jain threw lights on need of spirituality to bring unity in the family. B K Varsha made everyone practice Rajyog and connected them with spirituality.
