Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-I, Rakesh Sahrawat chaired a meeting with representatives of Trade Unions (TUs) to ensure availability of social security to every single worker in private and government institutions and workshops, on Tuesday.

Addressing the meeting, PF Commissioner, Rakesh Sahrawat said that the department is committed to ensure availability of social security to workers of private institutions by providing the benefits of provident fund, pension and insurance.

During the meeting, representatives of trade unions raised the issue of exploitation of workers in different factories and workshops and appealed for initiative stringent measures for stopping exploitation of workers and providing them genuine benefits. They have also expressed gratitude towards Commissioner, Rakesh Sahrawat for taking initiatives of ensuring availability of such benefits for private workers.

PF Commissioner, Rakesh Sahrawat replied the queries of trade union leaders and urged them to contact him directly in case of any kind of query or problem. In the meeting, representatives of CITU, Hind Mazdoor Sabha, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, INTUC, AITUC and other trade unions were present while Regional PF Commissioner-II, Shubham Agrawal attended the meeting.
