President Ram Nath Kovind said that I have fond memories associated with Ujjain. I am familiar with the streets here. Ujjain is the city of Yoga-Vedanta, Parv-Utsav, religion-philosophy, art-literature, Ayurveda-Astrology. This is the land of Maharishi Sandipani, Krishna-Sudama, Lord Mahakal, Mangalnath, Samrat Vikramaditya, Mahakavi Kalidas, Bhasa, Bhavabhuti and Pandit Suryanarayan Vyas. I bow to this pious and holy land again and again.

Hope results of the Mahasammelan will be beneficial for the country and the world. President Kovind said that Ayurveda is a simple and easy way to lead a happy and long life. Ayurveda tells us how people can be happy and healthy by following proper diet and daily routine. It has been told in Charaka Samhita that washing hands, feet and mouth before meals is the way to avoid diseases. This education proved to be very effective during Covid crisis.
In Ayurveda, ‘Bhojanam and Bheshajam’ means food is medicine, if you take proper food, it keeps you healthy.
