As the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the results of Civil Services Examination, 2021 on Monday, Shradha Shukla from Raipur secured the 45th position in the list of 685 candidates who cleared the examination. It may be mentioned, the written test of Civil Services Examination, 2021 was held by the UPSC in January, 2022 followed by the interviews held in April-May, 2022.

The candidates clearing the examination will be recommended for appointment to Indian Administration Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service, and Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ in order of merit of candidates. However, Shradha’s selection in IAS looks almost certain. It is also to be mentioned, Shradha Shukla is the daughter of Chhattisgarh Congress Media Chief Sushil Anand Shukla.

Similarly, Akshay Pillay, son of Additional Chief Secretary in Chhattisgarh Government Renu Pillay and IPS Sanjay Pillay has secured 51st rank. Prakhar Chandrakar also of Chhattisgarh has got 102nd rank. Prakhar has done engineering from NIT Raipur.

Abhishek Agrawal, the son of another IAS in Chhattisgarh Umesh Agrawal, has also been selected in UPSC. Abhishek has secured the 254th rank.
