CITY’S Gurudas Raut, Lokesh Marghade and Arjun Vaidya have been selected in different Indian teams for Deepak Lohia Memorial T20 Cup for physically challenged players to be held at Zee Litera Valley School Ground Bhiwani, Haryana from May 11.

While Marghade is student of Dhanwate National College, Vaidya studies in City Premier College. Both are members of Sahas Cricket Club.

Incidentally, divyang Marghade was adjudged man of the final in Guzder League C Division Tournament, a VCA-recognised tourney for able-bodied players, that concluded a fortnight ago. Wicketkeeper-opener Marghade carried his bat through to guide his team to title win. Marghade has been selected in India A Blue team,Vaidya will play for India Green and Raut will be part of India Red in the two-day national-level cricket tournament.

VCA to conduct classes for video analysts

VIDARBHA Cricket Association (VCA) will conducting classes for fresh video analysts. The purpose behind this is to encourage youngsters to broaden their scope of work and prepare them for BCCI conducted examinations. Those interested can submit their registration by accessing the link available on the VCA website (www.vca.co.in) before May 10.
