Vidarbha Yoga Association recently organised 16th State-Level Yogasana Championship and Selection Trials for the 34th National Yogasana Championship to be held at Aurangabad (Maharashtra).

The competition was held at Nashikrao Tirpude College of Physical Education.

Players of Saraswati Vidyalaya excelled in the competition winning several medals. In Under- 15 years category, Siddhesh Warankar bagged gold medal and was also declared as the Champion of Champion.

In Under-10 girls category, Sejal Wahane clinched the gold medal and Champion of the Champion title.

Harshal Deshmukh finished at seventh position while Utkarsh Deshmukh finished eighth. Head Mistress Jayshree Sastri, AHM Pushpa Anand, Supervisor Uday Tulankar, Physical Education Teacher Brijmohan Singh Rawat, Shilpa Shelke, Primary Headmistress Reshmi Umesh and other staff members congratulated all the players.
