The body of a youth was found in a pool of blood near a public toilet in Bajnamath area under the jurisdiction of Tilwara police station, on Friday. The deceased has been identified as Rahul Choudhary (24), son of Ashok Choudhary, a resident of Chulha Golai, Narayanpur village in Tiwara.
Learning about the incident, Superintendent of Police, Siddharth Bahuguna, along with Additional SP (Rural), Shivesh Singh Baghel, CSP, Bargi, Priyanka Shukla and the FSL team reached the spot and started investigation into the case.
According to Tilwara police, Rakesh Rai (32), resident of Garha, working as care taker at Jan Suvidya Kendra near Bajnamath square, informed that on Friday morning, he reached the Kendra and found the body of a youth in front of the Kendra.
Prima facie, police found that the youth sustained grave wound on his head and it is suspected that he could have been killed with sharp-edged weapon. The deceased was working as a helper of a chef at marriage parties. Police sent the body for post-mortem after conducting Panchnama at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College and Hospital. Tilwara police have registered a case under Section 302 of IPC and investigations are underway.
