Lecture programme on Aadi Guru Shankaracharya begins at NDVSU

“Aadi Guru Shankaracharya is not unknown to the world but the new generation is still unaware about his significance. The responsibility has been shouldered by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for publicising the ideology of Aadi Guru Shankaracharya amongst every citizen through Madhya Pradesh Jan Abhiyan Parishad is appreciable. The campaign will definitely proved fruitful in introducing the ancient manuals of rich Indian culture to current generation and exploring a new window to know about the Indian philosophy”, said Mahamandaleshwar Swami Akhileshwaranand Giri Maharaj, Chairman, Gau Samwardhan Board, Madhya Pradesh. Swami Akhileshwaranand Giri was addressing the inaugural session of district-level lecture programme on Aadi Guru Shankaracharya Jayanti at Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University auditorium, on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion was Rajiv Sharma, Divisional Commissioner, Shahdol while Dr. Jitendra Jamdar, Vice-president, Madhya Pradesh Jan Abhiyan Parishad, Dr. SP Tiwari, Vice-chancellor, Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University, Ravi Barman, Divisional Coordinator and Pradeep Tiwari, District Coordinator were special guests. In his address, Rajiv Sharma said that right from children to elderly persons are suffering with stress and Advaita (Hindu philosophy) is the only remedy of stress. Aadi Guru Shankaracharya played a key role in iteration of Sanatan Sanstruti. Indian philosophy of Aadi Shankaracharya is efficient to show a new way to the world. Swami Vivekanand and Ramkrishna Paramhans were also the promoters of this culture of Aadi Shankaracharya.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Jitendra Jamdar said that Shankaracharya Ji reached at Omkareshwar in Madhya Pradesh in the early age of 8-years where he found his Guru where he studied under the guidance of Guru Govind Bhagwat Pad for next 3-years and started Dharm Jagran throughout the country. In the process, Aadi Shankaracharya established four Peeths and reestablished the unity of Sanatan Dharma.
NDVSU, VC, Dr SP Tiwari also showered lights upon life of Aadi Guru Shankaracharya and emphasized over the ideology of Aadi Shankar to develop a self-confidence for facing the challenges of 21st century.
On the occasion, RS Sharma, Dean, Radhakrishna, Jugrajdhar Dwivedi, Uday Paranjpe, Shivnarayan Patel, Shivratan Mohanti and others were present.
