BoB confers ‘Maharaja Sayajirao Lok Bhasha Samman’ to Malini Awasthi

Bank of Baroda (BoB) has conferred ‘Maharaja Sayajirao Lokbhasha Samman’ to famous folk singer Padma Shri Malini Awasthi for her important contribution in publicity of Indian folk languages through her folk songs. BoB Executive Director Ajay K Khurana felicitated Malini Awasthi with the award in a special programme in Gangtok. Maharaja Sayajirao Lok Bhasha Samman is given in the name of BoB Founder Maharaja Sayajirao Gayakwad III for important contribution for publicity of Indian folk languages. It is noticeable that Bank of Baroda confers this award to such a personality every year for exemplary work in the field of publicity of folk language. Bank of Baroda has conferred this year’s award to Padma Shri Malini Awasthi.
 
BoB Executive Director Ajay K Khurana also felicitated zonal and regional offices with ‘Baroda Rajbhasha Puraskar’ for excellent work for use of Rajbhasha and its publicity in bank. Bank of Baroda’s Chief General Manager (operation) Ajay K Khosla, head of (Rajbhasha and Parliamentary committee) Sanjay Singh, Assistant General Manager (Rajbhasha and Parliamentary committee), Puneet Kumar Mishra and other executives as well as Rajbhasha in charge of entire country were present.
