Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industries and Jal Shakti Mission Prahlad Patel on Tuesday said that the target killing in Jammu and Kashmir is not the consequences of the internal dispute, rather it is being committed by the terrorists on the instruction of Pakistan. Comparing the situation of Kashmir before 2014 with the present, the Union Minister said that the situation was horrible before 2014, while talking to the mediapersons during his visit to Raipur on Tuesday. This is the last attempt on the part of the terrorists. The forces will put to rest the target killing and other such activities in the valley soon, said the Union Minister. The terrorists committing such incidents are being eliminated immediately, said the Union Minister. The Union Minister was in Raipur to attend a programme at ICAR-National Institute of Biotic Stress Management, Baronda, here.

He interacted with the beneficiaries of the central government schemes and inspected Indus Best Mega Food Park . The Union Minister said that the culture of work in the eight years tenure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has changed in such a way that people, who used to distrust the leaders, have started believing in the political leaders. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been able to restore the faith of people in leaders. India was able to supply vaccines to 150 countries during the Covid-19 crisis. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s influence at international level has made it possible to bring back Indian students from Ukraine.

Targeting the Chhattisgarh government, the Union Minister said that the state government has been able to achieve only 23 per cent work of Amrut Mission while the national average is 50 per cent. The State government can change the name but cannot contribute its share to central schemes, depriving the people of Chhattisgarh of benefits of various central schemes, said the Union Minister. The Chhattisgarh government is just making a mockery of the people through its ‘Gobar’ schemes, said the Union Minister.
