Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s interaction with the beneficiaries of about sixteen schemes and programmes spanning nine Ministries of Government of India was telecast at Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR)-National Institute of Biotic Stress Management (NIBSM) Raipur on Tuesday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed these beneficiaries from Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industries and Jal Shakti Prahlad Singh Patel was present at the NIBSM Raipur. Earlier, addressing the programme at NIBSM Raipur, Union Minister Patel highlighted the Central Government’s schemes and programmes of the BJP Government at the Centre. Patel further said that the schemes and programmes of the BJP Government at the Centre are being implemented across the country to benefit the poor people. The Union Minister also urged the farmers to take benefit of the schemes of the Central Government.
 
He lamented that the Chhattisgarh Government is not cooperating with the Central Government and it is not implementing various schemes of the Central Government. Raipur MP Sunil Soni also addressed the programme. BJP State President Vishnu Deo Sai, MLA Brijmohan Agrawal, Director of the NIBMS Raipur Dr P K Ghosh and others attended the programme. Joint Director of the NIBSM Dr Anil Dixit conducted the proceedings of the programme. Thousands of farmers attended the programme at NIBSM Raipur.
