After scolding from father, youth hangs self to a mobile phone tower

Irked over his father’s scolding, a 21-year-old youth hanged himself to a mobile phone tower in Gandhi Nagar area of the State capital. The police did not find any suicide note in the search, however, the preliminary investigation revealed that the father had scolded him on some issue. He probably committed suicide because of this. The police are investigating the matter. SHO of Gandhi Nagar Arun Sharma told ‘The Hitavada’ that Vishnu Gujarati (21) was son of Ramlal Gujarati, who lives in Gondarmau Sector-3. He works at a private firm. On Wednesday night, the father had scolded Vishnu on some matter when he returned home. After that he went to sleep quietly in his room. When he woke up early in the morning on Thursday, his father scolded him again. When asked, he told his father that he was going to the toilet. Saying this he left the house. After some time, the neighbours found his body hanging on the mobile phone tower installed in the vacant land of BDA near the house. Vishnu had hanged himself to the tower after climbing to a height of about 10 feet. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot, took the body down and sent it for post-mortem. Police have not found any suicide note in this case. In preliminary interrogation, the police have come to know that the father had reprimanded Vishnu on some matter.
Body of unidentified youth found: On the other hand, the dead body of a youth has been recovered near Patti Bazar in Kevade Wale Bagh under Talaiya Police Station area. Local resident Rais Khan had informed the police after seeing the body of the youth on Thursday afternoon. During the search of the body, the police did not find anything that could identify the deceased. Apart from sending the photo of the deceased to all the police stations for identification, the police have also uploaded it on the internet.
