“Shiv Sena always says it respects Sambhajiraje. In reality it does not. This was proved in recently held Rajya Sabha polls. Sanjay Raut, the candidate of Sena for Rajya Sabha failed to respect Raje. He did not show magnanimity in ensuring the victory of Sanjay Pawar who is a loyal volunteer of Sambhajiraje,” alleged Dr Anil Bonde, who won Rajya Sabha elections on Saturday from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Dr Bonde was speaking to mediapersons at Nagpur’s Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport on Sunday.
Advising Raut to keep mum else it would affect his party, Dr Anil Bonde said, “Raut’s approach about others has changed. After the announcement of Rajya Sabha elections results, Raut publicly accused Independent MLAs of getting involved in horse-trading and minting money through it. All MLAs are angry because of his comment.”
“Nobody should take anybody for granted. With the successful poll strategy by Fadnavis, BJP fetched victories. Now opponents will not dare to take him lightly. I am confident of winning all seats of State Legislative Council,” said Dr Bonde.
On the comment of Raut regarding Pankaja Munde, Dr Bonde said, “Raut should get his own house in order and stop poking nose in others’ matters. Pankaja is our leader and Party will give her the justice.”
Earlier Dr Bonde got a rousing welcome at airport where Aruvind Gajbhiye, Nagpur District President of BJP; Dharmpal Meshram, Chandan Goswami, Anandrao Raut, Gopal Behere, Gajendra Pande, Sunil Hiranwar greeted him with bouquet. Dr Bonde visited Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Reshimbag Smruti Mandir where Ravi Bhusari, Manish Meshram were present.
Dr Bonde paid request at Deekshabhoomi in presence of Dr Milind Mane, Rajesh Hathibed, Sandip Gavai, Nagesh Sahare, Sandip Jadhav, Rajendra Sayre will pay respects at Deekshabhoomi and then reached residence of Pravin Jumle, Vasant Nagar where he was feted for his victory.
