Union Minister of State for Steel and Rural Development, Faggan Singh Kulaste was on a visit to Durg district on Monday.
On the completion of 8 years tenure of Modi Government, he addressed the poor welfare divisional public meeting organised by district BJP at Old Ganjmandi Ganjpara Durg and counted the achievements of the poor and public welfare schemes of the Central Government.
Rajya Sabha MP Saroj Pandey, MP Vijay Baghel, Santosh Pandey, Mohan Mandavi, State BJP Vice President Motilal Sahu, former minister Prem Prakash Pandey, Ramshila Sahu, Dayaldas Baghel, MLA Vidyaratan Bhasin, District BJP in-charge Purender Mishra , District BJP President Jitendra Verma, Bhilai BJP President Virendra Sahu and other senior leaders also addressed. Union Minister described the eight-year tenure of the Modi government as historic and unmatched. In the meeting, the beneficiaries benefited from the schemes of the Modi Government gathered with enthusiasm. Beneficiaries described the schemes of Modi government as poor welfare friendly. District BJP General Secretary Lalit Chandrakar conducted the meeting. On this occasion, BJP leaders along with workers of Durg, Bhilai, Rajnandgaon, Bemetara, Balod, Kawardha participated in large numbers.
Kulaste also took a meeting of the officers in the Zilla Panchayat meeting room. Here he reviewed the implementation of central schemes. He reviewed the implementation of major schemes of the Central Government like MNREGA, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana, Jaljeevan Mission, Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana, Swachh Bharat Mission and gave his suggestions in this regard. Along with this, he also discussed with various beneficiaries and also inquired about the benefits received by them. During this, district level officers including Collector Dr Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure and District Panchayat CEO Ashwini Devangan were present
