The wait for monsoon is over in Madhya Pradesh. The entry of monsoon via Khandwa-Betul brought a great respite to the people from heat and humidity. Its effect is visible in many areas of the State, including Bhopal. On Friday evening as well, many areas including Bairagarh received rain with strong thunder and lightning. Due to which people not only got relief from the heat, but also the weather became pleasant. With the onset of monsoon, rains have started across the country. Its effect is also visible in Madhya Pradesh. With the arrival of monsoon on Thursday, new systems are being prepared. A trough is over North India. Simultaneously, the East-West Trough has spread to Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, North Bengal, Sikkim and Nagaland. The effect of cyclonic activities over Pakistan, South-West Rajasthan and Haryana is now visible over Madhya Pradesh. Due to the formation of a trough from Southwest Rajasthan to Northwest Arabian Sea, Monsoon is also likely to advance from Khandwa and Betul from Arabian Sea on Friday.
Apart from this, rain has also been recorded in Jabalpur, Khandwa, Guna, Shivpuri, Shahdol, Vidisha, Rewa, Chhatarpur, Umaria, Katni, Singrauli, Ashoknagar, Damoh, Naugaon, Umaria, Sagar, Satna, Chhindwara, Rajgarh and Narmadapuram districts. Khandwa received about two inches of rain on Friday.
Maximum temperature dropped by 1 to 3 degrees: After the entry of monsoon, the maximum temperature of the state has come down to 38 degrees. According to the Meteorological Department, the highest temperature recorded in Bhopal was 40 degrees on Thursday. On Friday, the maximum temperature dropped by about three degrees to 37 degrees. In Indore, Guna, Pachmarhi, Raisen, Rajgarh and Khajuraho, the day’s mercury dropped by 1 to 3 degrees. One inch rainfall in Bhopal-Sagar: Earlier on Thursday, it rained in Bhopal and Sagar. One inch rainfall was recorded here.
Apart from this, half-an-inch of rain was received in Khajuraho, Datia, Betul, Narsinghpur, Raisen, Naugaon and Damoh. Also rain in Guna, Satna, Pachmarhi, Tikamgarh, Rewa, Gwalior, Rajgarh, Jabalpur, Malanjkhand and Hoshangabad. Due to rainfall, the night temperature also came down to 28 degrees, Pachmarhi recorded the lowest at 20 degrees Celsius. Rain alert here: During the next 24 hours in Madhya Pradesh, there may be rain in many areas. The Meteorological Department has notified Betul, Narmadapuram, Indore, Rajgarh, Shajapur, Bhind, Gwalior, Shivpuri, Burhanpur, Barwani, Harda, Khandwa, Narsinghpur, Dhar, Chhindwara, Anuppur, Seoni, Jabalpur, Dindori, Balaghat, Mandla, Damoh, Katni, Niwari , Rewa, Singrauli and Sidhi may receive light rain and thundershowers at isolated places.
