Chollywood mourns demise of renowned vocalist KK

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and Health and Family Welfare Minister T S Singhdeo have expressed grief over
the demise of renowned Indian playback singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK, who died in Kolkata on Tuesday evening.
Chief Minister wrote on his Tweeter account, “KK was a popular singer. KK was very fond of Chhattisgarh. He had come to Raipur a few days back. We will always remember KK, the owner of divine voice. I pay a humble tribute to him.”
Health and Family Welfare Minister Singhdeo tweeted, “It is extremely sad and painful to know that popular singer KK is no more with us! I pray to God for the peace of the departed soul and express my deepest condolences to
his family and supporters. Om Shanti.”
Chhollywood producers, directors and artists have also expressed grief over the demise of renowned playback singer KK. Secretary of Chhattisgarh Cine and Television Producers’ Association Manoj Verma said, “I am really shocked on the sudden demise of this great singer KK. He was one of the most versatile singers of Bollywood. My heartfelt condolences to his family and may his soul rest in peace.” Film directors Satish Jain, Santosh Jain, producer and Chhollywood actor Raj Sahu, actor Mann Qureshi, Kranti Dixit and other artists have also expressed grief over the demise of KK.
