Corona infection has become active again in the district. For last few days the number of infected patients are

increasing very fast as such Durg has reached the second place in State with most infected patients.

The rate of corona positive has also increased to 3.4%. The district has gradually reached near the border of the danger zone in terms of infection. Talking about the last three days, on June 15, 10 corona positive cases were reported, 8 positive cases on June 16 and the maximum number of 14 cases was reported on June 17. That is, every day corona infection is increasing in the district. In the last three, 32 cases have come to the fore, thereby

crossing the mark of 50 cases in district.

District Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr JP Meshram said that a total of 401 samples were collected from various testing centers in the district on Friday, out of which the reports of 14 people have been received positive. Due to which the corona positivity has increased to 3.4%. In these circumstances, the Covid-19 protocol must be followed.

Dr. Meshram told that an order has been issued by the Health Department in this regard. Under this order, as before, the citizens of the district should compulsorily use mask, as well as avoid going to the crowded area and maintain social distancing among each other and keep cleaning hands from time to time only to prevent the spread of infection. Along with this, people should be encouraged to wear masks in public places, rides and less ventilated areas.

Vaccination is the most effective way to prevent and protect against infection of covid-19, keeping this in mind, the work of vaccination should be accelerated. Vaccines should be given to all eligible beneficiaries at the earliest, as well as the eligible beneficiaries should be motivated to apply the vaccine dose.
